About the Role
Generally responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at venues or catering events. Their duties include greeting guests and taking their orders if needed, bringing them the correct drinks and dishes and refilling their beverages as needed. Duties include serving at weddings, corporate events, large parties etc.
Requirements
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.
Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
Reliable transportation.
Follow Health and Safety practices at all times.
